.shock Suite · software for photographers

One workflow that takes a shoot from brief to paid.

Fifteen modules that move a commercial or microstock shoot from the first brief through culling, editing, releases, keywording and delivery to every stock agency — then sell the curated best of it direct — all over one shared project library, so nothing is re-exported between steps. Alongside it, agency.shock runs the studio's own marketing.

1
shared project library

Built on the same MySQL platform as dotshock.ai.

Three moves: shoot, process, get paid.

Shoot into the project

Plan the job and bring frames in — tethered or imported — so the whole shoot lives in one shared library from the first click.

Process down the line

Cull, edit, retouch, clear releases and keyword — each module reads what the last produced, with nothing re-exported between steps.

Publish & get paid

Deliver tagged files to every agency in one push, then track downloads and earnings — and what to shoot next.

The pipeline

Fifteen modules. One production line, seven tracks alongside it.

Files flow left to right along the main line, each module handing off to the next. Skip any step you do not need — start in .tag.shock with finished JPEGs, or use .publish.shock alone. Alongside it, agency.shock runs the studio's own marketing rather than the shoot, while stats, rights and imla run continuously over the same library — .portfolio.shock sells the curated best of it direct, and .showreel.shock cuts it into a finished reel.

Main production line Brief to published — files hand off through the shared project library.

.plan.shock

Plan the whole shoot — concept, shot list, models, locations, call sheets and budget — as one spine, with model-release status built in.

Open .plan.shock

.camera.shock

Shoot tethered straight into the project, so frames land in the pipeline as you work.

Parallel tracks Always on. Not a step you pass through — agency.shock runs the studio's own marketing alongside the pipeline, while the rest run over the published library and feed back into the line.

.agency.shock

Run the studio's own marketing operations — calendar, publishing, ads, search and reporting, in one place.

.rights.shock

Watch the open web for your published images and flag unlicensed use as it appears.

.portfolio.shock

The portfolio. Sell the curated best of the archive direct — cleared, release-matched, full resolution, at 100% margin.

Why one workflow

A pipeline, not a folder of separate tools.

Most photographers stitch a shoot together across a dozen apps and re-export between every one. The Suite keeps the whole job in a single shared library, so each module reads exactly what the last one produced.

One shared library

Every frame lives once. Cull, edit, release and tag all read and write the same project — nothing is re-uploaded or re-exported between steps.

Skip any step

No module is locked to the one before it. Start in .tag.shock with finished JPEGs, or run .publish.shock on its own — the line bends to how you actually work.

Tracks that run alongside

Stats, rights and AI generation stay on over the published library — feeding earnings, infringement flags and reference frames back into the line.

Built for photographers who ship at volume.

Microstock contributor

Keyword and ship, daily

Cull thousands of frames, tag them agency-ready in seconds and deliver to every platform in one push — then see which subjects actually earn.

Commercial studio

Brief to released finals

Run client shoots from call sheet to delivered, model-released images in one place — with release compliance tracked, not chased.

Solo photographer

One tool that scales

Replace a stack of subscriptions with one workflow on the free tier, and add modules only as the work grows.

The difference

One workflow, not a stack of apps.

The usual stack

A separate culling app — then export.

A RAW editor — export again.

A retoucher — re-import, re-export.

A spreadsheet for model releases.

A keyword tool + FTP scripts, by hand.

One .shock Suite

Cull, edit and retouch over one shared library.

Model releases matched to faces automatically.

Agency-ready keywords in seconds, at volume.

One push delivers to every agency, formatted.

Earnings & rights tracked — nothing re-exported.

FAQ

Common questions about the Suite.

What is the .shock Suite?

It's a production-workflow software suite for commercial and microstock photographers — fifteen modules that take a shoot from the first brief through culling, editing, retouching, model releases, keywording and delivery to every stock agency, track what it earns, then sell the curated best direct through .portfolio.shock and render an AI-curated showreel. Every file lives in one shared project library. Alongside the shoot pipeline, .agency.shock runs the studio's own marketing — calendar, publishing, ads and search.

Which modules are available now?

Ten of the fifteen modules are live today: .plan.shock, .cull.shock, .edit.shock, .retouch.shock, .release.shock, .tag.shock, .publish.shock, .stats.shock, .imla.shock and .showreel.shock. .agency.shock, .camera.shock, .portfolio.shock and .rights.shock are still in development.

A few steps need the free Dotshock Desktop engine: RAW develop and RAW culling, tethered capture, automatic face matching and FTP delivery. Without it the browser apps still work on JPEG and PNG. The engine ships inside the Dotshock Hub — the Suite's desktop app (Windows beta): one install runs all the local servers and bridges the web apps to your machine.

Do I need every module?

No. No module is locked to the one before it. Start in .tag.shock with finished JPEGs, or run .publish.shock on its own — the workflow bends to how you already shoot.

What does the Suite replace?

One workflow in place of a stack of separate apps for culling, RAW editing, retouching, model-release management, keywording and multi-agency delivery — without re-exporting your files between each one.

How much does it cost?

Five plans from free to agency-scale (€0–€79/month). Start on the free tier and add modules as the pipeline grows. See the full breakdown on Suite pricing.

Which stock agencies and file types does it support?

.tag.shock exports platform-shaped metadata for Shutterstock, Adobe Stock, Getty/iStock, Alamy and Pond5, and supports JPEG, TIFF, PNG and all major RAW formats (NEF, ARW, CR3, DNG, RAF).

Is there a free plan?

Yes. There's a free tier, and .tag.shock can run on your own Anthropic API key at no subscription cost. Paid plans (Starter to Agency, €9–€79/month) add cloud processing and more modules as they ship.

Can I use my own AI key with .tag.shock?

Yes. .tag.shock has a free local mode that runs on your own Anthropic API key, so you keep control of AI cost. Cloud plans are available when you'd rather have managed processing.

Does it run on Windows and macOS?

Yes — the Suite runs on Windows, macOS and the web. Ten of the fifteen modules are usable today in the browser; .agency.shock, .camera.shock, .portfolio.shock and .rights.shock are still in development.

The rest of the workshop

The Suite is not the only thing built here.

Alongside the fifteen modules there are two standalone platforms, each on its own subdomain and each built on the same engine: Puls, for political intelligence, and Intel, the commercial sibling turned toward market and competitor monitoring. Neither is part of the photography pipeline and neither is sold in the Suite plans.
